The lead character of the Street Fighter III games. This, along with Chun-Li's own slightly changed appearance, suggest that the classic characters are older than gamers have ever seen them before. Ryu appears with a beard, echoing a costume from the previous game, all while wearing a sash reminiscent of his former master Gouken. Franchise favorites Ryu and Chun-Li are both confirmed to be in the upcoming Street Fighter 6, and they both look a bit different.
